Designed to keep safe the new UK Certificate of Competency photo card issued by the MCA.
In 2021, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency switched the format of all UK Certificate of Competencys from a passport style booklet to a ID photo card. One negative of the new style CoC is the size, each year over 350,000 ID cards are lost in the UK alone. We designed the CoC wallet to keep your new Certificate of Competency ID card safe and secure.Â
Constructed from full grain cowhide leather the sea wallet has been designed to be a similiar size as the old style CoC book, it will fit in your back pocket and protect your CoC card.
Purchasing a Sea Wallet to keep your CoC safe and protected while travelling and at sea is a wise move. A replacement CoC takes at least 4 weeks to be issued by the MCA.Â
The CoC Sea Wallet features an internal double sided transparent card holder, allowing for your CoC to be inspected without it being removed from the wallet. Our CoC wallet is suitable for all UK photocard CoCs and is a worthwhile investment for all UK Merchant Navy certified officers.
